About St Joseph's Nympsfield Out of School Club's Holiday Club

St Joseph's Nympsfield Out of School Club (OOSC) runs a Holiday Club for children who attend St Joseph's Catholic Primary School and St Joseph's Pre-school, with the option when a session is not full to offer to the wider community.  The Holiday Club was set up in February 2019 in response to the recognised need that parents need childcare in holiday time, not just before and after school.  As a result the Holiday Club operates for three weeks in an academic year.  One week or part of the week at Easter, and two weeks or part of two weeks in the Summer holidays.

The Holiday Club is part of St Joseph's Nympsfield Out of School Club's Ofsted registration (Ofsted URN: 101856), and as such all staff who assist at the club have all completed the safer recruitment process and hold an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate.

The following staff are involved in the Holiday Club and hold an approved Level 3 or above qualification.  Or if hold a qualification lower than Level 3 or are on apprenticeship or are unqualified, are supervised at all times.

    • Marie Knight
    • Natalie Finn-Powers
    • Kayleigh Niven
    • Natalie Clark
    • Elise Knight
    • Hazel Fryer
As with the OOSC, we ensure that all children who attend the Holiday Club are within both sight and hearing of staff and always within at least sight and hearing.  In addition, at each session the Designated Safeguarding Lead or her Deputy is in attendance.
