2025 - 2026 School Council
Our Purpose
Is to Inspire Everyone to REACH through
Faith, Hope & Love
To show that Little Acts, done with Great Love can make a Big Difference
We are the voice of the pupils.
We will aim to find ways to improve our school and inspire the pupils to be the best they/it can be.
To give every pupil a voice and to make all decision making fair.
School Council Voice
Elections will take place within the first 2 weeks of term. With a small Y6 class this year we are reducing the roles to just Chair, Secretary & 1 Rep for Y6.
We have every confidence that this years Y6 children will still be as effective and nurturing of the younger reps as their predecessors were!
Chair -
Secretary -
Y6 Rep -
Each class from Y1 through to Y5 also have 2 reps each, Reception Reps will be elected after the Easter Break, this is to allow them to settle in. All of our Y6 School Council Representatives will be guiding and assisting the younger reps, helping them to build and grow their Resilience, Empathy, Aspirations, Confidence and encouraging them to have High Expectations in all they do to assist and represent their fellow classmates.
2022 - 2025 Big Project COMPLETED..........almost!!!!
Prayer Garden
So after 3 years of designing and redesigning, fundraising we have finally started our Prayer Garden!
The original designs and wishes of both The School Council and Chaplaincy Team proved to be too expensive. We were lucky enough to secure a grant through the Little Ways Catholic Educational Trust and with fundraising completed over the 3 years by the various members of The School Council and Chaplaincy Teams we had £2,300 to spend, along with some generous donations of building materials from parents and local companies.
During the first week of the summer holidays various staff and parent volunteers, under the guidance of Mr Barron, and Angus our Foreman (Mr & Mrs B's dog, see photos!), created the start of our Prayer Garden, a little smaller than we originally intended. We are aiming to add planting once the children return to school in September along with asking Father Phillip to bless the Garden.
A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped out or donated supplies!

All bags are 30g, if your bag appears to have less than your friends, then your fruit is bigger and plumper!
Why are our bags 30g?
Our bags are 30g as 30g of dried fruit is equal to 1 of your 5 a day!
In keeping with Catholic Social Teaching, as stewards of earth, we endeavour to ensure that all our fruit is ethically sourced by Fairtrade companies, or from suppliers who pay farmers a fair price for their produce or give back in other ways to communities where the fruit is grown. We purchase our paper bags from a company who guarantee a Carbon Zero Footprint. We also encourage our classmates to recycle the bags in the recycling bins in their classrooms.
The small profit we make will be added to other funds we will raise across the coming school year for our new project, which has yet to be agreed. Watch this space for updates.
