Thursday 19 March 2026 was a truly special day as we celebrated 25 wonderful years of St Joseph's Pre-school! Quite fitting that it was also the Feast of St Joseph too.
The children proudly received their commemorative medals , and it was lovely to see their excitement as they marked this milestone together.
Our team and committee also enjoyed a well-deserved celebration with a delicious anniversary cake.
We were delighted to unveil our brand-new logo, along with a fresh new look for our uniform — an exciting step forward as we continue to grow and evolve.
This anniversary is not just about celebrating the years behind us, but about embracing the journey ahead. Here's to 25 years of learning through play, friendships that last a lifetime and a community that feels like family.

St Joseph’s Pre-school We’ve had a wonderfully busy start to the pre-school year with our exciting new topic, “Royalty.” The children have loved immersing themselves in all things regal, creating their own shields and flags, and designing king and queen spoons through a range of creative activities. At the end of term, we focused on Children’s Mental Health Week, where the children enjoyed calming “spa” treats, explored emotions and feelings through dedicated activities, and finished the week with a few special treats to celebrate their learning.
In February, we also attended the PATA AGM and Awards Ceremony (for 2024-25). We were incredibly proud to receive two nominations: our Treasurer, Leah Wilson, was a finalist for the Trustee of the Year, and Natalie Finn-Powers, our Lead Practitioner, was named winner of the Practitioner of the Year award. This category recognised practitioners who have "gone above and beyond for the children in the setting, who inspires their colleagues and demonstrates exceptional commitment to high quality practice".
On 19 March 2026, St Joseph's Pre-school celebrates a very special milestone - 25 years of laughter, paint-stained aprons, first friendships and tiny hands learning to hold big dreams. For a quarter of a century, our Pre-school has been filled with curiosity, courage and care. Generations of children have taken their first brave steps here - learning to share, to explore, to imagine and to believe in themselves. And while so much has changed in the world around us, one thing has remained constant: our commitment to nurturing each child's unique spark.
As we mark this silver anniversary, we celebrate not only the children and families who have been part of our journey, but also the dedicated staff and Committee Members who have shaped our legacy of care and excellence. This milestone also signals an exciting new chapter. In honour of our 25th year, we are:
- introducing our own logo, to reflect who we are today and the bright future we are building together;
- reviewing and refreshing our uniform; and
- launching a new website (www.st-josephs-preschool-nympsfield.co.uk)
