Week Beginning 14th November
This week Reception children will be revising the Phase 2 sounds that they have been learning.
They will be completing a phonics assessment, reading and writing all taught sounds. Reception will be learning more High Frequency Words (Tricky words) to continue developing and deepening their knowledge and to improve their reading and writing skills. The children will also be practicing writing short sentences using the sounds and tricky words that they already know.
Please continue to encourage your child to practice their sounds and High Frequency Words at home. Please see the formation rhymes below, to help your child recognise, form and write their letters correctly.
